Justin Timberlake was charged with driving while drunk. He also got in trouble for two driving mistakes: not stopping at a stop sign and not staying in his lane while driving.

Was Justin Timberlake Drunk While Driving?
When the police officer stopped Justin Timberlake, he told the officer that he had “one martini” before driving. After Justin was arrested, his lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., gave a statement to a magazine.
“I will have more to say later when I have all the information from the District Attorney’s office,” Burke said. “I am ready to strongly defend Mr. Timberlake against these accusations.”
Justin Timberlake’s Plea Deal
On September 13, 2024, Justin Timberlake went to court with his lawyer, Edward Burke, and said he was guilty. According to NBC News, Justin made a deal with the court to admit to a traffic violation for driving while impaired, which is not a serious crime. But the judge didn’t think the deal was enough. So, the judge asked Justin if he would do 5 to 40 hours of community service, which Justin agreed to. He also agreed to pay a $500 fine.
Following the plea deal, Timberlake appeared at a press conference in Sag Harbor on September 13.
