Former Bachelorette revealled that she is dating a woman: Gabby Windey, who was on the show “Bachelorette,” revealed that she’s now in a serious relationship with a woman while talking on “The View.” She used to be on season 26 of the show, where she and Rachel Recchia were both “Bachelorettes.” Even though she got engaged to Erich Schwer from the show, they broke up a few months later.
During a conversation on “The View,” Gabby mentioned she had some important news about her relationship. She explained that she had kept it private because it’s a significant story and conversation. She shared that she’s now dating a girl, which surprised the co-hosts, especially Sunny Hostin.
Gabby admitted she hadn’t anticipated this change
Gabby admitted she hadn’t anticipated this change either. She felt like there had always been a quiet feeling inside her that grew stronger over time. She initially didn’t pay much attention to it due to the shame attached to it. She had to work through that shame and understand where it was coming from.

She mentioned how she just wants to focus on herself and what’s best for her life, as she always talked about on the Bachelor show. When asked if she’s now exclusively interested in women, she confirmed that she’s into her current girlfriend and thinks she’s amazing.
Gabby appreciated “The View” as a safe space to share her truth and have an open conversation. She wanted her fans to hear about her relationship from her own words and connect with other women over it. Her family was surprised but supportive of her decision.
She revealed that her girlfriend, comedian Robby Hoffman, makes her feel loved and supported. Gabby later shared a picture on Instagram with Robby and humorously mentioned that she’s a “girls girl.”
Some fans hoped Gabby’s grandfather would be the “Golden Bachelor” on the show, but Gabby didn’t think he’d be a good fit because he doesn’t follow rules or directions.
Gabby isn’t the first from the Bachelor series to come out. Colton Underwood came out as gay in 2021, Demi Burnett came out as bisexual on “Bachelor in Paradise” and even proposed to her girlfriend on the show, and Jaimi King from Peter Weber’s season also mentioned her bisexuality during her time on the show.
